Marylaine Block speaking at Internet Librarians Conference

Since I left St. Ambrose University in 1999 to become a full-time writer, I've published two e-zines and other web sites for librarians, spoken at conferences, written two columns (one of them for Fox News Online), published articles in professional library journals and general interest magazines, and written trade books for librarians.

Best Information on the Net (BIOTN), which I created for St. Ambrose University in 1995, is now maintained by my former colleagues, but I took with me the parts of it where my personality leaked through, BookBytes and Neat New Stuff I Found on the Net This Week.

I'm retired now, but you'll find links here to all the work I've done that is available online.

Graphics credits: the ExLibris caricature of me in front of the computer is courtesy of Chris Hiers, the graphic artist who illustrated all my Fox News Online columns. The dragon is by my brother, Gordon Bagby. The bookworm is by Prof. Les Bell of St. Ambrose University. The bookcat I did myself, and is a fairly faithful replica of my late lamented Nickaninny in her favorite pose. The My Word's Worth logo was done in 1995 by an artist at the London Mall Magazine when I was writing the column for them.
